I am pretty sure that this is something that men don't talk about. In fact I am sure that talking about it is looked down upon. Well, I am going to break the mold. Here it is.

I cried. I just cried without great reason. Maybe it was the five hours I spent curled up in the bottom of a boat trying my best not to loose my lunch. Maybe it is the strange and painful sunburns that I have. I am not sure, but I cried.

I was writing a letter to my wonderful Mom and Dad. We were discussing the fact that I am soon to be an Uncle and they are Grandparents in the making. I wrote about some of my things that could be sold in a garage sale they are going to have. Then I realized that I miss them. Not only do I miss them, but I want to share some of my newfound joy in my semi eccentric life. I get to see some of the most beautiful and amazing places on Gods earth, and I don't have anyone to share it with.

This is the life I have chosen. This is the path that I am charging down in the name of God. This is me.

Holy Lux Batman! 01/23/2008

I would like to start off by explaining the title.

#1. Batman is cool.
#2. Lux is a new risk type game that I have discovered.

If you like strategy games such as Risk: World Domination I would encourage you to check out Lux. You can even play 30 free games!

Spanish class has started. It is a lot of fun, but it will prove to be a challenge. I enjoy teaching, but sometimes I do not have the greatest amount of patience.

I have been making my room more like home. It definitely helps me relax a little more. I found out that I have a beautiful bay window that was hidden by 3 blinds and a huge piece of styrofoam. I tore everything down and put a desk in the little nook. So now every evening I can sit at my desk and watch the sun set. It is kinda cool.

God bless,

We hit the ground running this new year of 2008. Shortly after I arrived our first group of the year came in.
Today was our first afternoon of ministry. For those of you who don't know we will be distributing shoe boxes with Operation Christmas Child all this month. We started our work with Pastor Lazarus and his Church. Nearly fifty families came today and had a chance to hear the gospel and receive a gift. Pastor Lazarus said that almost all of the families hadn't set foot in his church before today. This was just a great opportunity to help the local church grow. It is amazing.

I would encourage you to participate in our adventures in missions. All you have to do is pray.

Please pray that God would strategically use us in growing the Churches that we work with.

Thank you for working to change the lives of the Mexican people.

God bless
